About
The ArduinoBoy is a MIDI synchronization tool for the GameBoy series of mobile gaming devices using the trackers LSDJ or Nanoloop, or the MIDI synth software mGB (developed by trash80).  It is based on the open-source Arduino microcontroller (http://www.arduino.cc/).

ArduinoBoy 2017

Exceptional Design

- housing is made of robust plexiglass

- the direct view of all components underlines the technical focus and the DIY character

Compact Design

- power supply directly via the connected Game Boy

- specially designed PCB layout*, which omits all the components of the original Arduino board which are not required for the ArduinoBoy (for example the serial interface USB to RS232)

Modular Design

- all components of the ArduinoBoy (circuit board, switch, MIDI jacks, Game Boy link cable) are connected by plug-in connections and can be easily replaced by plug & play

Update- and Upgradeable

- the ArduinoBoy software can be updated with an additional FTDI adapter, the required connector is already installed on the PCB

- the ArduinoBoy is adaptable to future hardware developments due to the modular design and various unused but already on the PCB implemented pins (D4, D5, D6, D7, A3, A4, A5)
